After a very successful registration period. Divisions 1 and 2 are now complete. Fixtures and the League Table have been posted.
Division 3 is still open for registration but will close this weekend, 25th Feb, 3 slots are available for the first 3 teams to sign up. If the slots aren't filled, the Division will start with whatever number of teams are registered in it.
The map list and fixtures have been posted in each Forum Division Area.
The second stage of the ACSL website update has been complete - the first was, of course, the major update; and now this is quite a minor update, but brings some exciting new features into the ACSL Website and community.
First, as you can see, a management and news posting system has been added. Props to 'CuteNews' from the CutePHP Group. This will make it easier for us to post news updates, and people can comment on the posts to share their ideas (see the end of this post). Secondly, some minor graphical issues have been fixed; trying to make the site available to people with browsers with support for lower than 24-bit media (thus, we have replaced 24 bit .PNGs with .GIFs) and we have also spent the time to convert everything into a CSS (Cascading Style sheet) style. Thirdly, content has been added to the Media and Press sections, as well as more content on the right of this page, a flash feature header and the websites for the teams who have signed up.
Hope you enjoy it - feedback, typos and problems please post in the comments page.
From all of us here at the ACSL, welcome back! We hope you had a nice Christmas and New Years. We've been working behind the scenes to get things ready for our first league season and are finally bringing you the latest updates. The ACSL Forums have undergone major reconstructive surgery. We hope you like the new layout. The ACSL website has, as you can see, been re-designed; he hope you enjoy it too.
The ACSL Rules have been updated, actually, they've been rewritten from scratch. - We learned a lot of lessons from the knockout stage of the tournament and feel the new rules should cover all eventualities, but are still expecting surprises. ACSL has adopted NovaCap as one of our main tools for ensuring gameplay. We will be doing an extensive writeup on NovaCap in the near future, but in the meantime, you can check here if you want more information:

ACSL is also requesting that the latest version of zBlock be installed on all servers hoping to host ACSL matches. zBlock can be found here:

There is a new ACSL map list. Again, we learned a lot of lessons from the Knockout Stage. The following maps will be used in this season's league stage.
The ACSL is pleased to announce the launch of an ACSL Mapping Contest. The ACSL will award $200 US Dollars to the person, studio, or group who produce a competition map for exclusive use by the ACSL.
