MAPS

The following maps will be the maps used for all three competitions used in the first season of the ACSL. All the maps have been chosen for their popularity, tactical value, and their prior use as competition maps from leagues around the world.

Some of these maps may not have been used in Asian competition before and will require teams to be at their best to prepare and play on them. The ACSL will not simply copy other leagues, but will be at the forefront, as a league that other leagues copy.

We have provided links to the maps - these maps must be installed or be the ones to replace your current versions of the maps which you can download.

de_train

Possibly the second most popular official Valve competition map. A map that requires tactical and positional awareness and the ability to provide cover and split second decision making, as well as vital communication.
de_dust2
The mother of all competition maps that every other map tries to be, in terms of the tactics, skills, and teamwork required to dominate on this map.
de_nuke
A map that is more popular in Asia for competition play than it is in other leagues. Nuke offers a supreme tactical challenge for CTs and Ts alike. 4 entry points to Bombsite A, 7 entry points to Bombsite B, and 3 major choke points, making this a tactical dream, or nightmare, depending on how they look at it.
de_inferno
Another classic that is perhaps underused because players complain about the lag factor or that earlier versions were better. However, inferno is still a great map and will feature in the ACSL.
de_losttemple_pro
A map that has been included in various league map rotations for nearly a year. Some love it, some hate it, but it still requires the best from either side to win.
de_villa
Rapidly becoming competition player's favourite map. Balanced between ranged and close combat fighting. A mix of tactical possibilities and extreme skills are required to do well against a well organised team. ACSL will be the first Asian league to feature this map.
de_cpl_fire
The only CPL map that ACSL has decided to use in season 1. Another balanced map that allows for some good team play and has maximum tactical value.
de_contra
A map that tests teamwork and tactical awareness to the maximum. Very balanced play with the use of sound featuring more heavily than in other maps. Surfaces include sand, rock, mud and water ... therefore sound detection becomes a valuable early warning system.
